The race is on for the most powerful office in the world: The Executive Office of the President| The White House, at the forthcoming elections in November in the United States of America. Previous elections have seen candidates battle it out via campaign promises, debates, fund raising and getting their platform nominations, and this year’s election will not differ except for the pre-debate before party presidential tickets.
Who becomes the next US President is important to nations of the world, it is crucial to what happens in Russia-Ukraine war as leaders are closely monitoring the developments at the US polls. We have had a taste of the capabilities of both Donald Trump and President Biden, both have spent a term as POTUS. For a fact, President Joe Biden unseated Donald from the seat of power in the US 2020 elections, but will Trump be able to return the same favour? The electorates will decide. However, this election promises to be an interesting race to the prestigious Oval office.
President Joe Biden of the Democrats party is 81 years old, has four children from two marriages, with a net worth of $10m (Source: Wikipedia). He served as two term Vice President of the United States in 2008 and 2012 to President Barrack Obama, he contested and won the US presidential election in 2020 defeating the then incumbent President Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is 78 years old, has five children from three marriages, with a net worth of $5.4bn (Source: Forbes). A successful businessman, contested and clinched the Republican Party presidential ticket by storm in 2016 and won the election, but failed to win a re-election bid in 2020. He is contesting again for the same office in the 20204 election.

Recent events seem to be swinging in favour of Donald Trump: the outcome of the debate with President Joe Biden being one of them, the court granting Donald Trump immunity for his actions as President in 2020 and the recent assasination attempt on his life while at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Nevertheless, nothing is guaranteed except hard work on both sides: breathtaking slogans, fund raising, media campaigns and above all, a convincing future for every American.
